Seeing the rain clouds gather

I can see the clouds gathering 

Never knowing how to avoid the rain

Because when it comes from a place

Deep rooted in history,it was coming anyway

The first mistake highly magnified

And 'opening' a door for more scrutiny

Almost like a seed waiting for the first rain

That first mistake opening up a flood

Passive aggressiveness all the same

As if they enjoy erosion of the soul

The vulture carefully studying it's prey

To pounce and devour at the first opportunity 

Like a farmer-knowing signs of rain

I see clouds gather slowly and know

From lots of experiences,I know these patterns 

I know what awaits and so I retrieve in isolation
